Treat every gun as loaded
- whether you know it is loaded or not.

NEVER point a gun at anyone or
allow anyone to point a gun at you.

NEVER leave arms and ammunition
unattended.

NEVER load a gun unless
you are at a firing point on the range .

NEVER place your finger
on a gun trigger unless you are ready to shoot.

Always place your gun on the shooting
table with the muzzle pointed in a safe direction when the gun is not in
use.

A shooter must always check to ensure
that the backstop will not ricochets and is safe before opening fire.

A shooter must make certain that the
bore of the gun barrel is clear of obstructions before opening fire.

ENSURE that the breach or action
of your gun is open at all times except when it is loaded prior to firing
or when stored away in a case or locker after checking that the gun is
unloaded.

Any guns when handle to you always check
to see that it is NOT loaded.

When checking a gun always have it pointed
at the target backstops area or in a safe direction.

Once your gun is loaded at the firing
point , always keep the muzzle pointed in the direction of your target.

When shooter are using a range , ensure
that a qualified range officer is present.

It is mandatory for shooters and spectators
to use ear defenders ( ear muffs ) when in the vicinity of the A - 3
Range when the Range is in use.

All Shooters and spectators should promptly
obey orders given by the duty Range Officer.

Carrying of guns in holsters at the
Kau Wah Keng Range is strictly prohibited.
-
Only guns of Caliber from .22 to .45
will be allowed to be fired at this range ( A -3 ).
