ONLY UIT events
and approved targets are allowed in the range. All UIT rules must
be strictly complied with.

NEVER touch
or handle a gun on the range without the owner's permission.

NEVER step
forward of the firing line while firing is in progress on the range.
-
The use of JACKETED
bullets and MAGNUM cartridges are prohibited.
-
Carrying of hand
guns in holsters is strictly not allowed on the range.
-
NO more
than 5 rounds of ammunition to be loaded at any time of shooting for Pistol
events.
-
NO SMOKING
or
ALCOHOLIC
Drinks are allowed on the range.
-
DRY FIRING
is only allowed at the firing points or at approved dry firing areas.
-
Shooting at ANY
OBJECTS other than approved targets will be severely dealt with by
the Shooting Committee.

REPAIRS
of all guns must be carried out in the GUN ROOM.
-
All shooters should
ensure that the RED
danger light is switched on before anyone is allowed to move forward of
the firing line.
-
During a competition
always obey the order of the Range Officer promptly.
-
ANYONE
can give the order to CEASE FIRE at any time when a dangerous
situation arises.
-
ALL members
are doing themselves the Association a great service to report to any Committee
Members of Range Officers if they should see any of the SAFETY or
RANGE
RULES being contravened.

RANGE OFFICERS
are empowered to give advice, warning and stop the activities of any members
or guest who are in contravention of Club or Safety Rules.
-
NO SHOTGUN
will be allowed to be fired at the range without prior approval of the
SSC.
-
No shooting
guest is allowed to shoot at Kau Wah Keng range unless accompanied
by an authorized HKRA Instructor.
-
NO CHILDREN
( Under 15 ) are allowed in the shooting or firing point areas while a
shooting range is in use.

A GUEST INDEMNITY
FORM must be signed by the member inviting a shooting guest to the
Range before the guest is allowed to shoot.

ALL Shooters
should tidy up their respective firing points after use.
-
" Cross Fires
" at the targets are strictly forbidden.
